Michelle Yu, the pastry chef and owner of Cakebox, used to work in the technology industry but always had a passion for making pastries, travelling and photography.

After much thought, she decided to leave a career in product management to pursue her passions. She attended the world-renowned culinary school Le Cordon Bleu in Tokyo. After completing the French pastry program, Michelle baked in a private kitchen in Shanghai. Michelle has decided to move to Vancouver and is excited to share her sweet delights with Canada.

Cakebox is dedicated to making delicious cakes and desserts. We only use the highest quality ingredients. Fusing French pastry techniques and delicate flavors together to create simply delicious cakes and pastries.
